About the Business
At 16 Phil won an apprenticeship with a family owned company that specialised in all forms of carpet and flooring and after 5 years of working and training at Kidderminster College he travelled, spending a number of years living and running a team of carpet fitters in the luxury end of the market on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia.
Ocean Flooring was started out of demand really from more and more clients asking me to do private work in the evenings and weekends. So out of reputation alone Ocean Flooring was born.
These days Ocean Flooring are grateful to have a wide range of clients from the lovely old Betty Glen, who has a new kitchen vinyl every few years to family homes, schools, landlords - big and small, first time buyers on a budget, the Sussex Beacon, the rich and famous and thanks to Nutshell and some of Brighton's leading interior designers we've also been working in some of Sussex's most stunning homes.
