About the Business
It was the sweltering summer of 1976 in the Croydon Sunday market when us old school pals Phillip and Terry first got selling carpets together. We made a good pair, and as praise circulated, it was soon time to ditch our pitch on the melting tarmac in favour of our first shop in South Croydon. A union of our middle names, we called it Seabrook Graham - the first of several long-standing branches we steadily opened across Croydon and Bromley, eventually trimmed to a showroom in Hayes, a studio in Mayfair and displays in Westerham and Banstead.
Today, although we've a few more grey hairs and wrinkles, the essence of what we offer remains unchanged: Carpet and flooring as impressive in quality as it is in range and price, from a team not only expert and experienced, but that's friendly and helpful too.
Where homeowners are concerned, we've always been a little different to the corporations we've increasingly had to share the market with: We don't rack up our prices only to drop them in an endless sale; give away freebies when they ought to be included anyway; or natter on about RRPs when in this game there isn't in fact any such thing. And when our sales team (that's our Brian!) closes one of our super deals, he does it on the promise of little more than a pat on the back - so we're certainly not the pushy type.
